I'd pick the Corvette over the Porsche since you could probably still do work on it yourself when the warranty runs out.
However, I saw some pictures of someone replacing a heater core in their Corvette and it was hellish to say the least.

What GM's performance division was able to do with a fat, lumbering Camaro is astounding. I cannot wait to see what they can do with an already lithe, pure sports car platform.

It's faster than the ZR1 is what they're saying. Which means it's going to be seriously fast.

I've always loved Corvettes, and I always will love Corvettes. I'd absolutely rather have a 2014 over almost any Porsche.
...almost...
There might be an exception here or there...but yeah...

I concur. The Porsche is more eveolutionary, while the Stingray is revolutionary and looks nothing like it's predecessors. I like that.
